International Sales Executive

Giatec is searching for its driving force in managing its existing international distributors, as well as, identifying/establishing new partners in key overseas markets. Through Giatec’s growth, channel partners have always been over 30% of revenue and requires a motivated and analytical individual to maintain this growth as the company grows. The ideal candidate will have experience working in business development and/or sales in various international markets. Knowledge of the construction/concrete industry is not a necessity but an asset. The ideal candidate will also have the ability to adapt and grow with the company to become a key player in managing the distribution networks in the future.

Responsibilities

  • Help Develop, communicate and manage the goals of all distributors.
  • Build relationships with distributors and formulate plans to help increase revenue.
  • Ability to push direct international sales through the pipeline in markets where distributors are not present.
  • Working various hours to accommodate time zones in growing markets where demand is needed.
  • Actively engage in identifying, developing, implementing and refining strategies, policies, and processes throughout different markets.
  • Report weekly to management with progress, plans, next steps etc., in a concise format on market-entry plans.
  • Attend international exhibitions on behalf of the company and provide detail report of success.
  • Maintain the motivation of all distributors to continue driving revenue, working with their representatives to problem solve.
  • Develop and conduct training sessions on new products, sales strategies, developments at Giatec and ensure that they are understandable across all cultures and languages.
  • Prepare market analysis reports and entry-to market strategy ideas.
  • Capable of understanding and leveraging industry/market trends and basic business/finance concepts.
  • Ability to analyze and evaluate data, develop a sales plan, and accurately forecast results.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years sales experience in a cross-cultural setting.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Experience with CRM and marketing automation tools.
  • University Degree or higher level of education in commerce or similar background.
  • Working proficiency in English and other language(s) preferred.
  • Experience managing a travel budget.
